Dr. Salansky was born and raised in California. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Tennessee Technological University in 1989 and her Medical Degree from James H. Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University in Johnson City in 1994. Dr. Salansky performed her internship and residency at the T. C. Thompson Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga and finished in 1998.

Dr. Salansky is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.   She joined HPA – Hamblen Pediatric in 1998.

Dr. Salansky is married to Greg and they have two children.  They are members of Manley Baptist Church.

Sarah was born in St Louis Missouri and lived in California and Texas while growing up.  She worked as a Medical Assistant in a Family Practice while living in Texas and returned to St Louis to complete her Associates of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College of Nursing.  She obtained her Bachelors of Nursing at Maryville University as well as receiving her Masters of Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through Maryville University in 2017.  Sarah became a Certified Lactation Counselor in 2019 and is passionate about helping families achieve their breastfeeding goals.

Sarah and her family moved to the Kodak area in July 2021.  She enjoys spending time with her family and is involved as a troop leader with her daughters Girl Scout troop.  In her spare time, Sarah enjoys listening to live music and attending sporting events.
